- Experience, training, and equipmentTo be truthful, as of the writing of this paragraph, I have not had any professional jobs. I have been told by many people I would have a good voice for VO work. I have therefore dived into any materials I can find about the craft from the acting side to the business side. As I am starting out, I am willing to work at an affordable price, so I can get my foot into the door. I can record and even add music if needed. I have taken several online courses regarding VO work. Other than that, I am entirely self-taught. I have read several books and follow several online personalities concerning the VO business. I currently use a Blue brand microphone and record and edit on my own computer. I can deliver MP3's or wav's as needed. I do have experience with editing so I can edit prior to sending.
