I began doing voice over work during my first job in radio in 1993. I enjoyed it so much that I volunteered to do recordings for various businesses in town. Of course, that was when I was young and naive and didn't realize that I could make a living doing this. ;-)
Since then, I've worked as a producer and voice over talent for different companies and have voiced everything from radio spots, website narration, training modules, podcasts, greetings voicemail and video/television narration.
I learned to be a voice over talent in college while working as an intern at a couple of radio stations in South Florida. I was told by many that I was a natural and had some of the on-air personalities work with me on improving my technique.
Since then, I have been in the media production business and often have clients seek me out to do voice over work on their projects.
As a media producer, I am very knowledgable of all aspects of a production, whether it be radio, television, cd-rom, or the web. This helps me in understanding the needs of a client and making sure that I deliver the best possible final product on time and within budget.
