I have worked as voiceover talent for the ABC daytime soap opera "One Life to Live". Recordings performed live, in the studio, as the confident and direct On-Air News Reporter, the sultry Strip Club Annoucer and the sex starved Movie Actress.
I started out as a singer dancer as a child. Performing at the local community theater. in college productions and singing in the church choir. I then moved into the study of vocal technique and acting for musical theater and film and television while in college at NC State, UNC-W and Meridith College. And continued on that same path once I moved to NYC. Where I studied with the infamous voice over artist Dwight Weist. The voice of "Days of Our Lives". Then, after having several teachers, directors (Peter Miner OLL, AMC and other daytime tv) and the voice of "Entertainment Tonight" Randi Thomas (whom I met while working for The Tony Awards as the Executive Assistant to the Producers and Director of the CBS telecast) tell me I should get into voice overs, I decided to study privately in New York City with Peter Rofe of PDR VoiceOvers Inc.
