English- My name is Joan Peiró and these recordings correspond to some of my ranges. My work consists, precisely, in expressing the contents of scripts and texts so that the idea and its concept arrive to the audience through that social and human link to which we call communication. Playing with the nuance, the tone, and the intention, the message is made tangible through the vibrations of my voice. I work in locution in all its areas -documentary, dramatic, or advertising- and dedicate myself to this thrilling world since more than twenty-five years ago, interpreting texts in Spanish as well as in Valencian. Spanish- Cada texto espera una voz para revelar lo que oculta. Jugando con los matices, el tono y la intención, hago posible ese fenómeno humano al que llamamos comunicación. Soy locutor de múltiples registros, aunque la vibración de mi voz se califica como cálida y adulta, con un toque de ironía cuando es necesario. Y sobre todo, con una buena dosis de profesionalidad y pasión cuando me involucro en cualquier proyecto.

  English- The world of locution is intimately tied up theater and stage. The conscience of an audience as the receiver of our message - and the clear intention of what we want to transmit and which expressive strategy we choose to obtain it - are basic to arrive to our potential audience. As well as, of course, a good voice. I have teached at the University, and at the European Radio and TV Institute, and I have also a wide experience as a sound engineer. I am the voice-over of some well kown spanish theatre companys and I work usually for different producers as a voice over in a wide range of environments. Throughout my professional career I have carried out many type of works for known trademarks, national and international institutions, as well as for the stage world, radio, and television. Mi larga trayectoria en estos territorios laborales deriva de mis primeras experiencias en la radio en los años ochenta, donde me inicié trabajando en tareas técnicas, ya que es en este ámbito en el que se desarrolló mi formación académica. Poseo , además de mi bagaje como locutor, una amplia experiencia como realizador y especialista en sonido. En el campo de la docencia he ejercido como profesor en el Instituto Europeo de Radio-Televisión, he impartido cursos en la Universidad Jaime I de Castellón y he sido ponente en la Universidad Internacional Menadez Pelayo. He dirigido numerosos talleres de radio, y he realizado todo tipo de trabajos y colaboraciones para diferentes productoras y medios de comunicación en el campo audiovisual, fundamentalmente como locutor y guionista. English- My speciality is communication and voice over, as well as sound engineering and radio production. Formally, I am thecnical specialist in communication engineery, althoug my carrer has developed in creative environments as a voice over. Anyway my career has two aspects: the artistic and the thecnical. Spanish- Especialista en comunicación audiovisual. Estudié en el Instituto Politécnico de Formación Profesional de Castellón, donde me gradué como técnico especialita en electrónica de comunicaciones. He asistido a numerosos seminarios, cursos, y escuelas nacionales e internacionales relacionadas con la comunicación. Soy persona de dos vertientes profesionales: La técnica y la artística. Para mí, el mundo de la locución está íntimamente ligado al del teatro y la escena, ámbito en el que he realizado numerosos trabajos como voz en off. English- I have my own studio. For voice over jobs I use a TL audio tube microphone and a tubes preamplifier. I have all kind of tools to achieve a perfect finalt result. But above of all, I think that the main ingredient of this "sauce" is a good reading of the text, with all it´s details. The reading, too, has to reveal and discover the hidden and subtle nuances of the text. Spanish- Poseo estudio propio con micrófono TL Audio a válvula y previo a válvulas de la misma marca. Dispongo de numerosas herramientas de edición de sonido para redondear el resultado final de mi trabajo. No obstante, soy de los que piensan que el principal ingrediente de esta salsa es una buena lectura del texto, que capte todos sus matices y nos revele algunos que permanecen ocultos. English- My double spceciality as voice over and sound engineer guarantee a good result related to the sound quality of my job. Spanish- Mi doble vertiente como técnico y locutor garantiza unos buenos resultados en cuanto al acabado sonoro de mi trabajo.
