18 years as a radio news announcer and talkshow host. Have recored well over 1000 commercials since 1974. Voiced the entire content of a 300-page book (took 17 hours in the studio). Public address announcer at various functions. Solid "old school" sound - but not the puking radio type.
39 years of hands-on experience.
First coach was Art Hannis (now deceased) who has Ed Sullivan's off-stage announcer and played the part of the CBS News announcer on Orson Welle's original World of The Worlds.
Home studio - MacAir, Audacity, Condensor mic - good for initial reads and most projects that will have music added.
Local pro studios - there are 2-3 excellent full-service studios with 15 minutes drive.
I am a voice talent, not an engineer.
