- Experience, training, and equipmentWe actually tried to figure out the number of spots Jim has voiced over his multi decade career in voiceovers. Give or take 5 or 10, the total came to roughly over 100,000. That's quite a lot of experience. We'd say he "gets it" The best kind.....30 years of real life experience, but I am always learning and growing in my craft and skill. I don't think as an actor, you ever really stop. :) I have worked with some of the best voice coaches in the industry. Coaches that only work with established talent with an active career in the business. Large diaphragm studio condensor mics as well as Sennheiser shotgun mic. Avalon/Neve Pre Amps. Outboard gear from Neve, Symetrix, Lavry, Dynaudio all run through the latest Pro Tools HD digital editing system with full Waves/Slate Digital etc plugin packages.
