About Jim
My voice is clear, full, well-projected and in the mid-range and that my interpretation of copy is excellent. I can sound conversational, involved, sincere, warm, friendly and enthusiastic and am able to use expression and inflection in my delivery. I can sound very authoritative and matter of fact when needed. My pronunciation is crisp, clear and accurate.

- Experience, training, and equipmentI am enjoying my Broadcasting course at the Columbia School of Broadcasting where I am carrying an "A" average. I scored a perfect 100 points on my Radio News Broadcasting assignment. More to come! In addition to the Voice Over workshops I have taken here in Los Angeles, I am currently taking the Radio Broadcasting course at Columbia School of Broadcasting, where I am an "A" student. I have also studied acting with Elizabeth Gamza as well as the Meisner Method at the Sanford Meisner Center, both in North Hollywood. I earned a BA Honours Film and Television Production degree from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, UK. I record at home using Audacity software and an AT2020 Microphone. Additionally, I work on Final Cut Pro as and editor on my G5 Apple Mac. My first job here in Los Angeles after completing my BA Film and Television Production at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 2007 was in Post Production mostly performing duplication services and tape operations.
