Spent many years in radio as a disc jockey so did many types of commercials, promos, commercial presentations, etc. Then got more into commercial VO work, and have done many many commercials, narrations, movie trailers, documentaries, company product presentations and so forth since 1983 in the Los Angeles area. Have been with TGMD Talent Agency for many years.
Graduaed with a Bachelor of Arts at Ohio State University, just a few years ago, how many I won't say. But Woody was there too. Have mentioned DJ work and experience that goes with it. In L.A. have taken many VO classes, seminars, on camera, acting, etc. during my VO & on-camera career. Have appeared in some non-memorable plays in LA, and had a lot of fun. Once I even sang in a 4-man Mexican Band on stage. Cool.
I have a home studio in (appropriately) Studio City, CA. Have a Pro-Tools setup with a Mack Computer and record on a Sennheiser 416 Mic, or Electro Voice RE20. I basically record in my studio and forward the finished product on mp3 or whatever form needed.
You should know that I am an affable and friendly person, prompt and punctual, (qualities ingrainedfrom my many years in radio as a DJ. I have written many commercials, and have a good insight into the workings of a good and well written piece of copy. I think my VO work reflects that.
