About Jessy
(She/ her )Hello, my name is Jessy Schmidt.
I’m a German and English HUMAN voice artist with a strong love for immersive, emotionally driven storytelling. I enjoy working on projects across fantasy, thriller, drama, romance, mystery, and character-focused fiction, especially stories with strong atmosphere and emotional depth.
When working on a project, I like to take the time to understand the tone, pacing, character dynamics, and overall feeling the author wants to create. For me, narration works best as a collaboration, and I genuinely enjoy helping bring a story and its characters to life in a way that feels natural and engaging.
My voice is naturally soft, warm, and slightly lilting, with an intimate quality that works especially well for emotional narration and atmospheric storytelling. I also enjoy exploring darker or more controlled tones, including subtle arrogance, tension, or villainous characters, while keeping performances grounded and believable rather than overly theatrical.
I’m especially drawn to layered characters, immersive worlds, emotional nuance, and stories that leave a lasting impression. I provide fully edited and mastered audio and always aim to be communicative, reliable, and easy to work with throughout the production process.
