It was a Wednesday afternoon, the sun was shining, the birds were chirping...ok I have no clue what day it was or what was happening, all I know is I received an acceptance letter into the Radio Broadcasting program I was waiting for! From than on, it was voicing commercials as MP3's, wave files, and performing voice-tracking shifts. After 2 years of voicing commercials, and voice tracking for the school and local station, graduation came and went, and here entered the working field - as a Sales Rep. I was a Sales Rep with a voice for announcing, which than turned into a Sales Rep...who voiced commercials for the station...and THAN...well here I am today...
Training eh!?...well, I attended a dramatic arts school, which I was enrolled in for 2 1/2 years, also performing in plays at school, and also in the communications class. From there attended college for Radio Broadcasting, and performing in commercials and voice tracking. I had my own shows overnight that I voicetracked and produced on my own.
My studio equipment entails a beautiful Apex microphone and I currently use the software "Sony SoundForge"
I use a desktop PC along with soundproofing boards for crip sound.
I have experience working in the Radio Industry, and therefore know that aspect of the industry. I also have knowledge of production of radio commercials and voice-tracking. I have experience in telemarketing, and did not have one single hang-up, and was told because people like listening to my voice!
I also have experience recording phone systems as I recorded the entire phone system for a chain of medical spas in the Toronto area.
