My commercial for GoApply is currently running nationwide during intermissions for the Rusch Limbaugh show. That was my first big break. I also did an African American girl who was hurt and in trouble for Dole Rey, a rapper. The song starts out with my voice on his answering machine. That was fun! My first voice over job was announcer for a massage clinic commercial. That was on television.
I am a stand-up comedienne/actress and singer. I have been told I have an excellent voice and decided to look into voice over jobs. I recorded my cd at All Comedy Radio with an engineer. From that, I booked the GoApply commercial. I am very interested in animation. I love cartoons and would be thrilled to do voiceover work as a character in a Disney or other animated film.
As a stand-up comic, I have created different voices for characters. I am studying acting at The Beverly Hills Playhouse, and also studied improv at National Improv Theatre. I have supported my acting career by making balloon animals for kids, being a Regional Supervisor in a cosmetic company, dealing Black-Jack, and DJing. I have a lot of experience on a microphone. While working on GoApply, we wrapped my scene in less than an hour. The director told me I was excellent at taking direction and thanked me for being able to duplicate the desired effect very quickly.
