I started my voice-over experience doing radio work at WWVU-FM, working shifts and reading public service announcements. I transitioned to Sunday morning news at WCLG-AM/FM (Free Broadcasting), Morgantown, WV. I read and recorded newscasts using wire & local paper articles. I transitioned to on-air shift-work, and recorded spots for local events. In 1999, I participated in a recording project called GOD SEEKER'S CENTRAL STATION a radio project from Shepherd's Tales, Johnson City, TN. In that I played an eccentric character called Digger Dan, and assorted other background characters & noises. My wife, dauther and son are never sure what accent or 'voice' will pop-out of my mouth next. I read to my children using voices that I think fit a character, accenting it with volumes & tones.
