"I am Alessandro Pinna, President of MV International. I had the occasion of watching the Video of our network that you developed and whose narrating voice was provided by your person. I express my deepest and most sincere satisfaction about your work and, particularly, I note that your voice was perfect, in both tone and cadence, for the purposes of the Video. I am sure this will provide a substantial added value and contribute to the success of the product. While commending you again for your contribution, I take this occasion for expressing the hope that we might cooperate again in the future."

"We were very impressed with the quality of Jeff’s work. He has a very warm, inviting voice that was perfect for our project. Plus, he turned around our voice-over in less than 12 hours. You can’t beat that!"
Marty Katz, Sr. Director of Communications & Marketing
Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee Counties (FL)
"Recently, I have had the pleasure of working with Jeff Ostroff to create a 30-second voice-over ad for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Delaware in Wilmington. I wanted an ad that was dynamic using both pictures and spoken words to highlight the feel of this unique program designed for people 50+ to stay intellectually and socially engaged. This ad was created for our webpage at www.lifelonglearning.udel.edu/wilm and for our Facebook page.
I chose Jeff to create this piece for several reasons. One is the quality and clarity of Jeff’s speaking voice. The other is his ability to work with my concept. Throughout the process, which was very quick, I had multiple opportunities to evaluate test samples and offer feedback. I am very pleased with the final product and the short turnaround time it took to produce it.
I highly recommend Jeff's services."
Carol Bernard, MS
Manager, Osher Learning Centers, University of Delaware
Jeff trained with Chuck McKibben, a distinguished voice-over coach and talent, who once worked closely with Mel Blanc of "Bugs Bunny" fame. More recently he's trained with Tommy Griffiths, a nationally recognized and utilized voice actor. (See his website.) He has also had additional training in audio engineering techniques used for voice-over work.
Jeff's degree was in Radio-TV-Film from Temple University. Throughout his career he has worked in the communications field, handling anything from speaking engagements, to newscasts, to training programs, to writing assignments, to consulting. His credits include newscasts, disc jockey work, and keynote and training presentations to large audiences.
Throughout his career, Jeff has had vast experience in working with or on behalf of middle-aged baby boomers and seniors. He wrote a book on that topic, too, entitled "Successful Marketing to the 50+ Consumer" (Prentice-Hall).
As a baby boomer himself, Jeff would be highly credible if you are interested in reaching the GIGANTIC and growing age 50+ market... and how can you NOT be-- even if you are selling baby food. (Hello, grandparents!!) He has an excellent overall marketing and communications background, is creative, and an excellent writer.
In addition to doing voice-over work, Jeff has excellent "in-person" performance skills honed throughout his career. (See above.) In addition to the training referenced above, Jeff continues to hone his voice acting skills through web-based training and other studies, plus via receiving guidance from long-time, successful voice-over pros.
Jeff has a fully outfitted in-home professional studio, enabling him to produce high quality audios on demand and at a moment's notice. This includes the capability of doing Skype-based productions.
His studio includes a Blue Baby Bottle microphone, Auray mic stand, Auray desk/mic stand reflection filters, Auray nylon pop filter, Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 portable USB audio interface, and Sony Sound Forge audio studio 10. He typically uses Audacity as his software program.
Jeff has excellent writing, public speaking, teaching, and social skills. In addition, he has worked in the market research industry, where he's facilitated and provided market analysis for focus groups. He also has provided market analysis for telephone surveys.
His overall expertise in marketing and communications is a value-added to his clients, particularly his know-how on the baby boomer and senior markets... developed throughout his career.
