He projects bright and enthusiastic tones with a youthful exuberance, but Jeff can also exude an authoritative and booming quality with a resonant, operatic tones developed from twenty years of cultivating a classical voice quality.
A Voice actor now in his twentieth year, Jeff is always working on improving his versatility. Naturally warm and sensuous with an inviting style, Mr. Miller can project the dulcet tones of a mature baritone, and the next minute show the brighter, melodic sing-song timbres of a court jester.
He can be powerfully engaging; dark with sepulchral tones or dripping with satirical sarcasm, effecting Stephen Colbert. His natural voice, at it's most unpretentious, is gentle, easy-going and warm.
A natural voice actor with the gift of a good ear, Jeff can channel a seemingly endless range of character voices. He's a natural at vocal mimicry, characterization and impersonation, and is perpetually working at perfecting his "voices".
A devotee of Peter Sellers and the legendary Goons, Mr. Miller also possesses the uncanny ability to mimic nearly any voice he hears and create separate "personalities" within the same conversation. Among Jeff's greatest voice influences are Jonathan Winters, Ken Nordine, Peter Coyote, Will Lyman, and Bill Curtiss.
Jeff speaks fluent and articulate English. He is proficient with a number of dialects, including but not limited to British, Elizabethan, Irish, Cockney, Scot, Australian, Italian, Russian, Hindustani, Eastern European, Macedonian, Bulgarian, California surfer, Southern(Confederate), Brooklyn/Bed-Stuy, Bostonian, Mid/Northwest, Canadian/Scandinavian, of course the nasality of his Upstate NY-Rochester upbringing, and can even effect a convincing, if dangerously seductive, Southern drawl.
