For the past twelve years I have provided various character voice work to the Terry Meiners radio show on 84-WHAS in Louisville, KY. My characters have become main-stays in Terry's arsenal of comedy bits that are filtered in throughout his weekday afternoon shows. Over the years, some characters have become regulars to his show and are often mentioned my Terry's fans as their favorite part of his show.
I have a journalism degree from Indiana University. I have been in radio broadcasting since 1977, when I landed my first job as an on-air announcer for a small station in my home town of Corydon, IN my junior year in high school.
I have performed on stage in various theatre productions for over 30 years and have had the privilege of playing the lead in comedy, drama and musical theatre roles.
I have also performed as a musician for over 30 years, playing piano, keyboard, guitar, bass and some drums. I am a singer and writer of music as well. I do a spot-on Elvis and Neil Diamond as well as various other singers.
I generally use Mac based programs and interfaces. I have a wide range of equipment and a vast library of production music and SFX that I purchased through my work in radio over the years.
