I am a native Canadian, with prairie roots, but have lived in Vancouver, British Columbia since early 2011.
I have extensive training in both voice acting and on-camera acting, so I like to bring the distinct principles of each discipline into my work in both areas.
I have worked on several cartoons, including on a LEGO series called Legends of Chima, on a Barbie movie, and a few video games, as well as a couple top-secret projects that have yet to be released. Additionally, I've done ads for clients such as Telus and BC Hydro, as well as several smaller, independent clients.
I have begun a directing career in the voice world as well, with my most recent project being a PSA about sexual violence awareness for the Research Universities Council of British Columbia, and I am finding that my work in that capacity is greatly serving my voice acting work.
In my spare time, I teach several voice acting classes at School Creative in Vancouver, an institution that only allows presently working actors to teach within its walls, which keeps me sharp and always on the ball, striving for my greatest potential.
I am a constant learner, and believe in always getting better!
I'm rockin' an Aston Spirit microphone, through a MOTU Microbook interface, into Logic Pro X as my editing software. All of this equipment is in my super cool, bright green, home-built recording studio.
