My voice is very raspy and caters to a sarcastic tone very easily. I have a warm deep resonance that is perfect for instruction and narration, but I also do a range of accents for characters in commercials, cartoons, etc. I've been told my voice would be great for a sex operator, have yet to put that to the test. I am also great at articulating for instructional and presentation tutorials. My voice is deep for a woman, but I speak very clearly and know how to have a fun energy if it is appropriate for the mood of the piece.

      Most of my experience has been on stage and a little on film, but the vast majority of people I work and play with, upon meeting me say to me, "Have you ever considered doing voiceover or radio work?" Why yes I have! This is my way of getting out there and sharing my low, sultry voice with the world. I have a deep history in theatre and comedy, and this feels like a great fit for me. BA in Theatre and International Studies from the University of Denver in 2006 Education Director for Improv Training Program 2023 - Current Podcast Guest and Host 2022-2023 Podcast Producer and Host 2020 Second City Graduate Program (Chicago, IL) 2016 IO Graduate (Chicago, IL) 2016 Annoyance Theater (Chicago, IL) Hogwash Improvised Musical (Chicago, IL) 2012-2018 Long form improv training at Yes!Lab in Denver, CO 2010-2012 Currently enrolled in Annoyance Theater (improv) and Improv Olympic (improv) here in Chicago. Voice-over workshop with Hillary Blair (DU) 2004 I currently have the ability to record and edit from my laptop using Audacity. I am currently a sketch writer, director and actor, I teach and write programming for an improv training center, I've facilitated workshops for college aged kids, I've taught children's theatre, both as a director and instructor of kids ages 3-16. My background in theater gave me the foundation for voicing characters realistically and my experience in improv has furthered that, including making changes quickly, dramatizing specific accents and reacting in those characterizations in a realistic way. I also love to be silly and am excited by a new challenge or experimenting with where a job/character/project can grow and change!
