About Jay
(he/him)I'm an experienced Voice-Over Artist and Vocal (singing) Coach.
Being a performing musician and singer enables me to draw from vocal techniques - such as projection, breath control and dynamic control - and make my voice-overs even more clear.
On top of that, I'm also a professionally certified Audio Engineer with experience of working at Delhi's top studios, recording artists for both music and ads.
I have more than ample knowledge regarding mic placement, noise reduction, recording techniques/angles and gain staging to ensure that my recordings come out clean and noise-free.
For equipment, at my home studio, I have an Austrian Audio OC16 which is considered to be an upgrade on the
lauded AKG C414 mic. I also have the Rode NT1A as a backup or secondary mic.
All of these mics go into a best-in-class Audient id4 mk2 audio interface, which has the cleanest possible signal capture.
I have recorded VOs for edtech platforms and brands regularly over the last 3 years. - both in Hindi and English. When it comes to English, I am comfortable in performing US, UK and Indian accents.
