Radio is the foundation of my experience. Many small market stations just did not have the variety of voices so I added different reads to keep commercials fresh sounding, especially those played back-to-back.
I have extensive writing and producing experience as well production director positions in markets including, suburban Chicago, Rockford, Omaha, Indianapolis, Toledo, Detroit and Green Bay. The character voices are just a natural extension of producing commercials for the past 20 years. I have also recorded narrations for industrial applications including Micro Switch and Oracle Packaging. I have also recently added multi-media presentations including churches.
I am constantly searching for more voice applications.
I look forward to serving your production and various voicing needs. Thanks for your consideration!

Other than a number of theater courses I am basically self-taught. However, growing up in Chicago, during the heyday of Top-40 radio exposed me to quality. I am also not afraid to experiment if the job calls for it.

People skills,as in pleasing my clients and giving them more than they might have expected. Speech language skills (speech minor in college). Earning the client's satisfaction.
In addition to voice over work I have on air experience including WOW (Omaha era), KGOR, KFAB, WGEE-FM, and satellite and voice tracking experience at Waitt Radio Networks and Retro Rock. As with being on the radio, with voicing copy you need to know who your audience is. So, I can bring that knowledge to all voice projects that I do. I also bring a warm, personal element to all of my work.
