I have always been told I have an interesting voice. In the past year I faced a potential layoff which got me looking into the voice acting industry. Even though I was able to keep my full time job, I decided to give it a try to see where it may go. For the past 10 years I have worked in customer service. Im this job I have taken the "Disney" corporate mentality. Except instead of being "on stage" with the customers, I consider myself "on the air". I am constantly listening to my tone and work on using my voice to create an experience for the customer. I even try to envision and create character voices when reading to my daughter at bedtime. My acting skills come naturally, I have participated in acting since I was the lead snowman in a gradeschool play. High school plays included Pippen and The music man where I played one of the quartet. I am also really passionate about music and have worked in several local bands performing, as well as performing and recording.
I have a degree in finance; however, I started at ASU as a jazz performance major. I play guitar, bass, piano, and vocals. my mother was a music teacher and also trained vocal lessons.
I work with a Roland vs series digital audio workstation with full effects. I also have sequencing software available for adding sound effects and to help with creating background music soundtracks. I am currently using a shure sm58 microphone with a simulated condenser effect added.
