My time as a voice over artist started out with the simple task of doing a selection of radio voices for a stage play. Another opportunity presented itself, shortly thereafter, when performing as a halftime act at a sporting event and their usual announcer cancelled last minute and the presenter asked if I would fill in. It was a very gratifying gig that lead to several other opportunities. Including being corralled by a friend to do a voice in his CalArts animation short which led to doing voices for a few other students submissions as well. A short while after I made the move from the west coast to New York City. I did one gig in NYC when I first got here consisting of 14 different voices of various animals with both text and song for a series of children's books. After which I took some time away from the voice over business to more faithfully pursue my career as an actor on the stage. But now that technology has caught up in a manner that would allow me to do my recording wherever I may be I am pleased to be making my return. And since making that decision I have done a handful of small radio commercials and several voices for the video game "Dawn of Fantasy" Most importantly, I had the wonderful opportunity to study with the amazing Mary Kay Bergman. And most recently the extremely talented Shelly Shenoy.
