About Jason
I've narrated a corporate IVR system and corporate training videos using a voice that's clear, calm, and objective; that voice is approachable but not overly familiar.
For my corporate marketing video projects I was confident, reassuring, friendly, and knowledgable; a mid-30s, American everyman who can solve your problems quickly. This voice is closest to my natural tone and character.
I've done radio ads in character, voicing both a surfer-type and a redneck in one take and am interested in doing more character work.

- Additional vocal abilitiesI have various accents that I do (British-various, Irish, Scottish, French, American Southern (male/female), Bostonian, New York (various), Californian (northern & southern), Western (cowboy), Russian, Spanish (generic), and develop others as the need arises. I have several stock characters that are impersonation-based such as an old jewish man based on Peter Falk, a Matthew Mcconaughey/JV football coach character, and others based on my dialects and inspiration.
- Experience, training, and equipmentI've done radio ads for wrestling trading cards (tape), corporate IVR systems (G.711 mu-Law, 8/8, mono), corporate training videos for internal tow management systems (.wav/.aiff/.mp3), and - my most recent experience - voiceover for a marketing video (.aiff) for a municipal tow management company, AutoReturn, in 2014. This last video was an interesting challenge in that it had to sell towing management services to a diverse set of stakeholders with different and sometimes opposing requirements. It's been pivotal in helping AutoReturn win 2 new, multi-year, multi-million dollar municipal contracts since its release. I use a simple set-up: A Shure PG-42, Scarlett 2i-2, and Audacity. I've experience with G.711 mu-Law and other common formats.
