I have been a stand up comedian for 10 years using many characters and dialects in my act. I have also done numerous commercial voice overs with advertising agencies such as DDB San Francisco, DDB Chicago, MeringCarson, Young and Rubicam, and Deutsch LA. My voice has been heard in spots such as California Tourism with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kingsford Charcoal, Sony, Pepsi, Capital One Bank, and CiCi's Pizza. My voice was the English voice on all the Sony Handycam spots for the Asian markets in 2007.
I have studied character acting with the Groundlings, and also the Second City in Los Angeles, as well as done stand up comedy all over the world for the last 10 years. Currently, I am an assistant editor on commercials and do scratch voice over for many spots that we edit, and I have been cast in several of those. That gives me a lot of practice being in front of the microphone and being directed by the best directors, editors, and agency creatives in the commercial industry. I've also stood in on sessions with the greatest voice over actors in the world such as Morgan Freeman, the late great Don LaFontaine, Liev Schreiber, Rob Lowe, Forest Whittaker, and many others I can't think of right now. Although I have studied Voice over and Scene study with great teachers such as Ivana Chubbuck, and Christina Pickles, I find that the practice and repetition I have experienced has helped me the most.
I am an assistant editor at a post production facility in Santa Monica, CA and have access to a full mixing studio and voice over booth. I also have state of the art equipment and software to do editing, effects, and convert to any format necessary.
I think I've covered most of this in the above descriptions.
