About Janno

As told by friends I sound like Duke Nukem. That's how it started. So I kept on with the voice and can do a gritty, rugged, beat, sounding man. Perfect for trailers, products and voice cast on animation or games. Most people that know me don't understand that I am able to do the voice, and all that have seen my exam project from Danvik FHS ask me who I hired for the voice over in the short film. When I tell them it was me no one believes me unless I do the voice, even then some have had a hard time believing it is really me.

I am American Norwegian so it's a weird blend, but I my accent is from California, bay area. I can do some other dialects with a bit of coaching on what they want me to say as I am very fast to grasp new languages. I also have many Norwegian accents and can do them well. North Norwegian dialects, Mid Norwegian dialects(area where I currently live), and some of the south Norwegian dialects.

I do not have many voice over job under my belt at the moment. I did audition for a Real time Strategy Modification for Half Life 2, but never saw any results. I also did offer my voice to the Black Mesa Source Modification, but no luck there either. What I do have is my exam project for a Film School here in Norway. It was shown in the cinema in Drammen(Norway). It was made under the Danvik FHS and Buzz*Bazz Studios marks. No education towards Voice Acting. Just talking to different people with an open mind and a keen ear to tell me I should at least try to offer my voice. USB condenser mic. and some other headset mics... but in general I have more audio software than professional mics. I'm a wizard with any computer, and that is where my field of knowledge is.' Looking into getting better equipment if this turns into something I would like to work with more than as a fun hobby. As i graduated as a Director from Danvik FHS, most my work is related towards being one, but my main work area is special effects through After Effects, but I also do work in other programs like Photoshop and Premier Pro. Have used Avid and Final Cut Pro, but I am more fond of the Adobe Production Premium package. I am currently looking into some 3DsMax and some of the programs The Foundry are working on. None the less, I am a pc god, with an awesome voice to boot.
