Unfortunately, I have no experience in the field of voice-overs/voice acting. My current job is working as an Accounting Technician for the Los Angeles County Office of Education. I used to be a high school math teacher (this is what my college degree from Biola University is in). On many occasions, people I communicate with at my job have commented that I have a "radio" voice and should be doing something with it. It is my hope that I will be able to re-write this section of my profile in time with numerous job opportunities where I have more than satisfied the people I would be working with.
I have no formal training in voice acting. I am a speaking deacon at my church though. Once a month I deliver the message at our Sunday church services.
While I have not been professionally involved in this industry, it has always been a goal of mine. I believe very much that clarity, pronunciation, and enunciation are all vital skills necessary to communicate well. My role as deacon at my church, in particular as a speaker on Sunday mornings, does require that I speak with power and clarity, as well as using emphasis to highlight different aspects of the message I am delivering.
