I'm one of those people who was always told I should be a radio announcer; My natural speaking voice is pitched low, and I tend to speak as clearly as possible while naturally varying my pitch. I have always had a habit of enunciating somewhat dramatically, which didn't help me mesh well with my classmates at the rural Illinois high school I attended. As an adult, I draw on a variety of sources for inspiration; Movies, television, commercials, my musical and songwriting experience, games, friends and acquaintances. I realize that many voice actors have some background in traditional acting, but it has always been my view that life is the best classroom, so long as you're paying attention.
