I am first and foremost an accomplished actor, and I pride myself in that all my voice overs are believable and interesting. I can quickly create a V/O that will serve the client, and leave a lasting impression. My vocal range is three full octaves, and my voice can do almost anything I ask it to do: heartfelt PSA's, rich documentary narrations, difficult industrial text, promos, quirky copy, sexy, cartoons, accents. I have great comedic timing for those wry spots that require irony and humour. I can do a clean voice read, or inject a rasp for youth and edge. I can play the spectrum from dumb, to sophisticated, to outrageous. Young to ancient. Accomplished at legals and talking books, with IVR and phone messaging a specialty. BA degree in creative writing from Mount Allison University I was a copy writer in an ad agency for one year. Professional film, TV and stage actor for 40 years. Taught film acting at the University Of British Columbia. Teach voice over workshops. Writing, acting in, and producing a new TV series"The Club." I voice on a Neuman 104 BMC microphone The preamp is a Universal Audio Twin - Finity I engineer on Protools, run on my MacBook Pro. Please note that I would be willing to set up an ISDN connection for a large or on-going project. At this time a hand held phone works great for most applications. Thanks.
