I am new to doing voice overs and looking forward to making it my new career. The only experience I have so far is recording the voice mail greetings at my previous office job. I was always told I had a sexy voice when I answered the phones. I have also listened to many a videogame voice, since my fiance and his son play them CONSTANTLY, so I've become intrigued with voice overs for videogames. I don't offend easily, and, therefore, would not have a problem with foul language.
In elementary school, I began playing the flute and also sang in the interdistrict school chorus. In junior high, I played French Horn, xylophone, sang in the chorus and was a featured soloist, and was a member of the drama club. In high school, I played French Horn, baritone horn, tenor saxophone, sang in the mixed chorus and concert choir (of which I was also a soloist), and was a member of the drama club. In my junior and senior years, I was chosen to sing the National Anthem at graduation. I also purchased (__________) to learn how to do voice over work.
I am energetic, easy to work with, and very enthusiastic. I am very much looking forward to becoming a voice over artist and talent. I recently found a website for karaoke, where I record my voice onto songs on the website that are posted for the public to hear. My fiance and I have a self-made recording studio in our basement, where we use a Fostex recorder to record our own songs and also karaoke songs. We then transfer them to our computer where we edit and mix them down using Adobe Audition.
