Marcus Violette born in Sheffield (UK)< in 1972 worked from an early age in theatre and musicals. He studied drama and theatre in education at Theater Akademie Stuttgart and MA Performance at Drama Centre London. Further Vocal Training with Yuri Vassiliev and a certificate in Voice Therapy from IEK Berlin. He has worked for over 20 years professionally as a freelance performer, director, choreographer and teacher of physical theatre, clown and movement with various companies in over 30 productions. He has taught at The Academy of Arts in Stuttgart, at Arturo School of Acting in Cologne, Skola za Sutra in Zagreb, at the Academy of International Education Bonn and Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles.
Since 2012, Marcus has been working continuously with Sprachhaus M in Basel, and Ensemble Orval. Touring extensively in Europe and creating new and expressive theatre for all age groups.
