I have done voice overs of a variety of historical figures such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, Alexander Pushkin, Frederick Douglass, Imhotep, and Marcus Garvey for Aesop Porductions that are shelved in the Indianapolis Marion County Central Public Library and have been sold and shelved in book stores, libraries, and educational institutions elsewhere in the nation.
After completing my studies at Aenon Bible College and Ohio State University, I went on to complete my Master of Theological Studies degree from the Harvard Divinity School in 1976.
While at Ohio State University, I co-founded, "Proud Black Images", a stage production company and a literary magazine of poetry, photography, short stories, and essays. This became a campus black arts movement of which I was one of the three performing Proud Black Images Poets that traveled and performed in concert across this nation with the Ohio State University Black Choir, receiving rave reviews and national acclaim.

I have also done plays by notable play writes such as Anton Chekov to the great August Wilson. I have played the lead role in many plays, including the characters Troy Maxson in "Fences", Harold Loomis, in "Joe Turner's Come and Gone", and the character Doker in "The Piano Lesson", all in which my acting received rave reviews.
I have over 40 years of experience in ministry which includes preaching, teaching, and motivational public speaking as well as years of experience as a performing poet/actor on notable stages and institutions in this nation and abroad. I also received standing ovations and accolades from notable poets such as Norman Jordan, Delbert Tibbs, Ethridge Knight, Eugene B. Redmond, and Imamu Amiri Baraka (LeRoi Jones).
I am the second African-American to have ever received a $5,000 fellowship in history from the Indiana Arts Commission in theatre.
