Ian Carson Smith

I have used my voice as a singer of various styles since 1977 (most prominently with the group Blah Blah Blah). I have been an actor since 1982 and have performed on both stage and screen. I have given a wide range of public readings, including live poetry readings in York and London, dramatised Bible readings and performing as Charles Dickens, reading from his work. In 2003 I commenced voluntary work in local radio at BBC Radio York, recording and presenting radio packages and doing live radio broadcasting.
