A voice that is rich, clear & refined - captivating across genres in both British RP & Northern Accents. Outdoorsy, country loving, cross-country Horse-Carriage Competitor!
Early experiences making audio packages for Pennine Radio and talking books for the blind gave me the broadcasting bug! Studying Drama at University gave me a good grounding in performance, too. Later on I worked for the BBC and a couple of independent TV companies doing a broad variety of TV presenting and voice work.
After a decade or so in senior leadership in higher education I turned back to my first love - storytelling, voiceover and voice-acting - where I love tackling anything and everything - particularly commercials, TV/Video narration, animation and corporate work.
I have a lot of experience of writing engaging copy for marketing, advertising and storytelling so can help, where it’s useful, to refine scripts and make suggestions.
I spend loads of time in the outdoors - carriage-driving, cycling and yoga are my happy place. I like to stay fit and upbeat with plenty of energy for whatever life brings my way.
