While I have been primarily a stage actress for the majority of my career (legit theater training and background, and a long professional career in Las Vegas production shows--yes, actually *acting*, not singing and dancing ;-) I have always done random VOs along the way. Usually I'd be "discovered" by a producer or agent with a project, and I'd just get the gig. It's something that comes naturally to me, but I have paid close attention to specific techniques and tips, in addition to attending a workshop or two (Nancy Wolfson). Personally, I produced my own weekly podcast for over a year, and have been narrating and producing full-length audiobooks since 2013.
I have done radio commercials, chapter synopses for a full-length audio book production of The Illiad & The Odyssey, in-house commercials for major retail centers on the Las Vegas Strip, live VOGs for industry-specific national award ceremonies, Voice replacement for a feature film, and television commercial VOGs.
I am also an on-camera host, and a professional (live) presenter/narrator/MC for trade shows and conventions.
