I've been a radio and TV news reporter and anchor since 1983. My voice has ALWAYS been a key part of my rather active personality. People always say I have "great pipes." I tell them, "that's my daddy's voice. I just borrow it from him."
One the things I've developed and am continuing to work on is colorful characters. I've published one erotic romance novel and am working on a second novel. At the request of my readers, I attend their book clubs. They often ask me to read from the novel. I certainly put on a show for them! After all, if they've spend their hard-earned money and have taken the time to read my book, the least I can do is show up and give them their money's worth. They do enjoy the voices, male and female characters.
Prior the the use of my voice as a fiction narrator, I've also co-emceed the Black Engineers of the Year Awards (BEYA) Dean's Breakfast every for the past three years. This is a huge event held in Washington, DC. You can find an example of this event here at this youtube web address. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYxJY8mW94M
I am often called upon as an emcee for various events in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
