I have worked extensively as a professional performer in radio, television, films, theatre and broadcasting since 1980. I have worked on countless children's radio programmes for the BBC both in Welsh and in English. I have done voice-over work for children's cartoons and television programmes.I was in the Welsh version of award winning cartoon 'Girls Night Out' by Joanna Quinn. I have done adverts to camera about community projects. I did the Welsh and English voice-overs for the tour commentary in Tintern Abbey, near Monmouth,South Wales and the Big Pit National Coal Mine Museum Blaneafon, Wales I did voice overs for the tour audio-guide for Plas Mawr Stately Home, Conway, North Wales in both Welsh and English, playing Mrs.Wynn (The lead role) and Jane Roberts (a maid) Many years ago I did a voice over in Dutch. I have a Masters Degree in Social Science a Certificate of Education specializing in Drama and thirty years experience of working as a performer in all aspects of acting and singing. I have done stand-up comedy in Wales's biggest concert hall, Saint David's Hall and have sung in front of the Welsh Prime Minister, Rhodri Morgan and did a three quarter hour set in a concert organized by the actor Griff Rhys Jones on his farm in West Wales. I recently made history by singing the Welsh National Anthem for the very first time in the Welsh Commonwealth Games Trails at Cardiff. I have had a one woman show about Edith Piaf published and re-published in a volume of monalogues for women by women entitled 'One Woman one Voice'. I have written a stage play about the Falklands war entitled 'Paying the Full Whack' which was recently performed at Chapter Theatre in Cardiff in the presence of Simon Weston, a Falklands survivor. I have written plays for children and had a Christmas radio musical commissioned by the BBC which entailed six songs and a script which were available to all Welsh Schools. I have written over 150 lyrics, many of which have been recorded on cd's and my biggest success is the lyrics of the Saint David's Day Anthem which I also instigated. I have a Zoom MRS 2802 Portastudio at home but my knowledge of how to use it is quite basic and is restricted to recording and loading as an mp3 on to the computer and sending as an email.
