Ever since I first saw Robin Williams' Genie in Disney's 'Aladdin' I knew how I wanted to use my voice and my love of characters. From performing stand up comedy for seven years to receiving my BA in Radio, TV, and Film from Northwestern University in 2013 and hosting radio shows and podcasts, I have sought to use my voice and my range of accents, pitches, tones, and pathos to bring stories to life. In 2012 I directed the audio-heavy 'Talk Radio' by playwright Eric Bogosian and it was through that experience that I really understood Voice Over better, for we created faux promotional materials to advertise the show and use in the production. I contributed my voice to several ads, having already been dubbing for films before that experience. I have recently furthered my professional VO education under the tutelage of veteran casting director/producer Ed Lewis who's Shut Up and Talk: Cracking the Voice Over Code.
