I genuinely love working as a VoiceOver Artist.
The process of creating characters for animation or video games ... it's a blast!
I enjoy creating tracks for advertisements, knowing that I'm helping a small business grow. There's something very deep and meaningful in that.
And of course, working with big companies strokes the ego ... of which I really don't have much of, hahahaha. But there ya go.
I have a complete VoiceOver Studio in my home. It stays very busy five to six days a week. If you need an original and fun character ... I do my best to dig into the material and create something memorable.
I have a very broad range. Growing up in Texas, my sweet spot is of course in the Southern arena. But, I'm very comfortable as a Russian, a Brit, an Irishman, and even a wise old wizard.
I've been a small kid, an old farmer, a snowman, an ancient Greek Philosopher, a front desk ghost, an acorn, a pine cone, and even a chupracabra (and many many others). There's a message in there somewhere, I'm sure ... hahahaha. Point is, I have a pretty good range.
You can hear my voice on several projects with NASA, RE/MAX, Disney, and quite a few others.
I am extremely easy to work with. I am a veteran and absolutely understand authority and respect. I work efficiently and professionally. My goal is to give the client the absolute best I have ... that's the artist in me. I do so in a very streamlined way.
The only request I have ... Please, no bad language. I work "clean" and try to avoid projects that have cuss words. Thanks.
When I'm not behind the mic in my studio, I also work in feature films and on several different series. I am currently writing and developing an Animated Series. Now THAT is a blast!
I have enjoyed playing the drums professionally for over 40 years. Now days, I just groove a bit by myself in my studio. It's nice.
