Hi! My name is Glenn Howard and I'm an award-winning full-time professional voice actor. "You sound really familiar... where have I heard you before??" is one of the most common things people ask me. Because a lot of my work is in radio, TV commercials, and narration, and because I work internationally, familiarity has become one of my calling cards.
You can also hear me in-show narrating for TV, voicing TV promos, and internet content.
WHAT I OFFER
I've been working as a voice actor for a long time and before I went full time, I was a studio recording engineer. That invaluable experience has allowed me to appreciate what happens on both sides of the glass. It taught me how to be a lightning fast, accurate editor, to know what to listen for, when to say something (and when not to), and to be a better performer. My home studio is pro level and I can accommodate live sessions via SourceConnect, Zoom, Webex, ipDTL, MS Teams, Amazon Chime, Google, and phone patch. I offer same day turnaround on most projects and I always strive to be flexible on rates and budgets.
WHERE YOU HAVE HEARD MY VOICE
I have been the trusted voice of national branding campaigns for BMW, Michigan State University, The San Francisco 49ers, Transamerica, C-Spire, Coca-Cola, Amazon, LA-Z-Boy, and MemorialCare. I'm a promo voice for PBS and AXN Asia. Since 2015 I've voiced political ads for Democratic and progressive candidates in both the US and Canada. Last year, I was hired to voice in-show narration for a 2-part documentary series for Nordic Entertainment.
MY STUDIO
My home studio features a custom built soundproof voice booth, MKH-416 and U-87 mic's, UAD Apollo Twin MKII audio interface, and lots of other cool bells and whistles and things with twinkly lights.
