Gerald “Ged” Cleofas is a dynamic and seasoned events host and voice over professional that can deliver quality voice overs for any media projects like original character voice for animation, radio/ television commercials, documentaries, straight voice narrations, audiobooks, podcasts, corporate industrials/avps, multi-media presentations, E-learning and training instructional materials. He can also do Live voice over announcements and hostings for special events like concerts, musical plays, product launches, seminars, workshops, conferences and product trade fairs/ exhibitions. He is known for having that cool, warm, inviting, upbeat and distinctive-friendly voice. He graduated from New Era University Philippines with the degree of AB Mass communication. His early voice over career started in radio broadcasting when Ged began his first radio stint in September 1998 as a blocktime radio host for a radio health-magazine talk show program ”Tubig Kalusugan at Kabuhayan” in DWAN 1206 khz produced by Aqua Treatment Technology. Later on, another similar radio health-magazine program came up where he hosted, ”Kalusugan at Kayamanan” in DZXL 558 khz sponsored and produced by Herbs and Nature Corporation in November 1999 and earned positive reviews from loyal radio listeners. From there on, hosting and doing voice overs became his true passsion. He had done radio commercial voice plugs for Aquasoft purified water, My Marvel Taheebo Tea, the product that he endorsed for Herbs and Nature Corp. December 2000, he did Live voice over announcements during the concert of Filipino Music Artist, Mr.Pure Energy, Gary Valenciano. The concert entitled,"Gary V”, “A Christmas Radical" is a beneficiary concert produced formerly by Utmost Productions currently,Creative Futures and held at Crossroad 77 in Quezon City Philippines where audiences were delighted to hear the clear cool-smooth voice of Gerald. Inaddition, he voiced an inspirational audio hearbook called Lifeware "Decompression". He also did straight voice over narrations and character voicing of our Lord Jesus in January 24, 2001 of the same project. He creatively hosted special events and did voice overs for multi media presentations at Crossroad 77. Currently, Ged works as a freelance voice over artist and has worked with well-known TV/Radio broadcast stations like ABS-CBN 2, GMA 7, DWAN 1206 khz, DZXL 558 khz, local studio production houses like Prodigy Studio, Digitrax, Soundweavers and Creativoices production; Special event companies like Creative Futures, EP Creative Entourage, Eventworx Company, Nexstar FX Entertainment Corporation,The Great Events Plus and Executive Decisions. As of now, he continues to efficiently bring voice imaging services to the next level to large and small businesses in the local and international market. I had my voice training when I was in a chorale group and had voice lessons in my elementary years. I even attended acting workshops, voice acting and speech classes since highschool and college. I was a member of the first Military Male Chorale group in college in New Era University, Philippines. I can write voice scripts for TV/radio commercial plugs and I can even do character voices like Wolverine, Batman and voice impersonations like Clint Eastwood and Charlie Sheen. I can also sing for commercial jingles. My voice can adjust to your preferred voice types; From being warm, inviting, informative, friendly, conversational, down to being deep rugged and husky.
