About Georgie
I am welcoming, warm, friendly, perky, and quirky. I am a mom, grandma, and wife, with a no-nonsense yet loving attitude. Authoritative, professional, compassionate expert for medical narrations, tutorials, audiobooks, and tours. Comedic, dramatic female storyteller for animation.
On-camera experience as knitting grandma for Wish website and a Tarot reading mom on Strings Attached, now streaming on Amazon Prime. On-Camera comedic and dramatic reels are available upon request. Stage experience in various community theater productions, roles include Gertrude in Hamlet and Aunt Blanche in Broadway Bound. Training in Improv and Stand up at Bay Area Theater Sports, SF Comedy College, Pretty Funny Women. Training in Voiceover at Voicetrax working with Samantha Parris, Thom Pinto, and Melissa Gray, among many fantastic teachers.
Before I dove into acting, I was a financial editor/reporter at the San Francisco Chronicle and then Red Herring magazine. Every summer for 15 years, I was the lead storyteller at a family camp in Mendocino. I have worked in the medical, educational, and retail industries. I am also a ritualist, who reads Tarot cards and teaches feminist spirtuality classes.
