My love for books is what began my career in theater. I've been reading books aloud for as long as I can remember. That passtime is what put me on the trajectory that got me through 4 years of classical text-based theater school, with a focus on Shakespeare and Greek plays. Since graduating with a BFA from the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater Actor Training Program, I have been working as a director, actor and understudy across various plays and musicals in the Twin Cities. Some of my favorite credits include playing Ella in Life Sucks by Aaron Posner with Open Eye & Girl Friday Productions, understudying multiple roles in a musical version of Alice in Wonderland with the Children's Theatre Company and assistant directing an exciting reimagining of Chekhov's Three Sisters.
Part of my acting practice is to be reading constantly. This helps me find new inspiration for my own creative life and has helped me cultivate powerful analytical and organizational skills. I am punctual, responsive and love to collaborate. I also have years of dialect and vocal training. Although I've only recently decided to enter the audiobook field, I believe I could be an exciting candidate to narrate your audiobook. While lacking in experience, I have several samples that I hope you will take a moment to listen to.
