About Jean-Michel
As my name probably suggests, I am half French, half English with no trace of a foreign accent in either language, unless of course you’re explicitly asking for one !
My voice is most often described as warm, articulate, engaging, trustworthy, friendly and inspiring. My typical British accent can morph seemlessly from received pronunciation (also referred to as RP, Oxford or BBC English) to cockney, and anywhere in between. But beyond my home country I pride myself in juggling with accents, dialects and impersonations from the world over.
I specialize in fiction audiobook narration, commercial and corporate voiceovers and relish all opportunities that call for strong acting skills, quirky characters and an acute sense of timing.
I am a versatile worker with quick turnaround delivering high-quality recordings through the use of a professional studio, along with vocal, musical and sound-engineering skills acquired over the course of 25 years in the audio production business.
