Over thirty years' experience as a broadcast professional, entertainer, announcer, and voiceover talent. Formerly the host of the daily P.M. drive-time program, "The Gene Bogart Show" on WRIV radio in New York, Gene has for many years now been the station voice of ABC affiliate WPBF-TV in South Florida. His national corporate client list includes such industry leaders as Disney, Motorola, Comcast, and A.T.&T. Wireless. Gene is also known for sight reading complex long form technical material, including medical, scientific, and industrial narrations.
One of Gene's exciting new projects is the national release of the unabridged audio-book CD edition of D. Patrick Miller's "A Little Book of Forgiveness" (published by Fearless Books), for which Gene was narrator and audio producer. This uplifting new audio-book CD is now available through major booksellers and retail outlets across the country!
Gene Bogart is currently the producer and co-host of the highly successful "Gary Renard Podcast" (Gary is the best-selling author of "The Disappearance of the Universe" and "Your Immortal Reality", both published by Hay House); and the podcast series was recently ranked #12 in the Top 100 Podcasts at iTunes in the Spirituality category.
On-camera, Gene was previously seen as the host of the syndicated television show, "Steppin' Out", and is currently in the process of developing (as producer and host) a new South Florida-based TV production, with eventual plans for national syndication.
Gene operates his own state-of-the-art digital audio recording facility from his home in South Florida. His voice is regularly heard across the U.S.A. on commercials, infomercials, corporate narrations, and on the internet. He also has several voiceover projects currently running for clients in the U.K.
College: Majored in Psychology and Communications.
Radio: Studied with Norman Prusslin, at S.U.N.Y. Stony Brook
Television: Mentored by the great Jack Sumroy (NBC - New York)
Voice: Henry Sweitzer, who taught me how to open my mouth, how to not strain my voice, and how to (try to) hit the right notes.
...And also more than three decades of paying very careful attention to lots and lots of very talented directors, producers, writers, and performers.
Gene Bogart owns and operates his own top-flight voiceover and music recording studio facility; Macintosh-based, with A-list microphones and audio gear. Simply the best!
Having his own Macintosh-based and hi-speed-DSL-equipped production facility, Gene can easily interact with clients on an up-to-the-minute basis, providing them with exactly what they need, exactly when they need it. Voiceovers can usually be delivered on relatively short notice, and being that all aspects of recording and production are handled in-house, project pricing -- even for Gene Bogart's network-quality voice work -- is generally quite reasonable. A win-win situation for all concerned!
In addition, Gino's a pretty darn good guitar player! Singer and songwriter of the tropical pop tune, "Ease in the Keys".
