Although I am a beginner in the industry, I have a love for performing as well as liberal arts. Even if I don’t have the specific experience needed to fulfill the role, my skills in the things I am already interested in gives me a better edge and work ethic to gain such experience.
- As a youth I played “Sorrow”, in an indie production of “Madame Butterfly”, attended casting calls and started training my voice
- Being proactive in searching for opportunities in high school to gain experience, (was a part of two school bands as an elective, and performed as “Ms. Norbury” in our production of “Mean Girls Jr.”).
- During my first two semesters at Manhattan University, I joined choirs for scholarship. (Singers, 1st Soprano; our Lessons and Carols performance consisted of “Hallelujah Chorus”, “Kyrie and Gloria” as well as “Cantate Domino”. For our Spring Concert, we did pieces such as “Faure’s Requiem” and John Rutter’s “Look at the World” - nodding to my vocal adaption of both English and Latin langue’s, plus many others).
