Gary has in excess of 25 years experience in the Broadcast and Voice Over Industry. He operates a Production Studio on a full-time basis from home and is available for Recording Projects on a 24 Hour basis. He also presents "The Afternoon Drive" on the local Radio Station in his City. He has been involved with the Station since 1997 in a variety of capacities - Production, On Air, Sales & Management. Gary is passionate about using his Voice to tell a story - whether that be by way of a Documentary or a Radio AD - each is taken as seriously as the other. He believes firmly in the 'Theatre Of The Mind' concept when recording , allowing the listener to 'See the Sound' through the creative and imaginative use of his Voice. Gary prides himself on Service Excellence and invites you to put him to the test. Over the past 25 years he has produced numerous Radio AD's for flighting on both Commercial and Community Radio throughout the Country as well as a wide variety of Video and DVD Productions for local and International Business. Gary has attended numerous Creative Broadcasting Training Courses & Seminars over the 25 years in which he has been active in the Broadcasting Industry. Between 2001 and 2010 he held the post of Lecturer in "Theory of Radio" and "Sound Engineering" at University Level. In 2015 he won the MTN Radio Award (A National Award) for "Best Afternoon Drive Presenter - Community Radio") and has been nominated 12 times in various categories since 2013. Gary has Voiced and produced numerous Radio AD's for the biggest Commercial Radio Station in his area (Algoa FM) over the last few years and has become a familiar Voice on Local Radio as a result of this.
