Live TV narrations and booth announcing, commercial production x thousands of hours of readings, hostings, and recordings. I love doing this!
I started in Radio as a DJ while a senior in high school, and never looked back, started doing vo and production at age 17 professionally. Wanted more hours so went across the TV station owned by the same company and immediately became the "voice" of the station because I had experience...it was great. I continued in Broadcast TV while in college, studying the same subject, where I actually got to help train others. I love directing as well as performing, and have done National feature stories and vo's
This is what I do and always have, sound engineers love working with me because I am consistent (for AB rolls, re-cuts, etc), very mellow, laid back, and fun to work with...no ego here, just the love of the work. Perhaps it is because I have been on all sides, copywriter, producer, director, engineer, you name it, I have a keen appreciation of the creative process, which has led to me always wanting and doing more.
Not too advanced, really, have SoundForge software on my computer, Shure SM 57 and 58 Microphones and a few sound effects and music beds. I just do it at home and work mostly, and want to do more. I currently record dry VO's and email files in any format needed, usually mp3.
I have run audio boards on live TV and in pre and post production, sweetening the mix to perfection...but I am not fast, and prefer being the producer and even more so, the TALENT
Twenty years of Broadcasting, Media, Communications, Public Speaking, Hosting and Emceeing live events. I am very comfortable as a talent in front of and behind the camera and the mic.
