Since 1999, I have been performing lead and major roles in Community Theater. In our last production, I directed, acted, was the lighting director, and produced the musical score. Over the past 8 years, I have been involved in several performances that allowed me the opportunity to perform voice-over. Many of these roles have added unique character voices to my repertoire. The overall experience has strengthened my voice acting ability and confidence.
My 8 years of experience as an actor in Community Theater has added punch, emotion, and character to my voice over performances. This passion for acting and voice over led me to an Introduction to Voice Over class at my local Junior College. This then led me to enroll and subsequently graduate from the Voices For All Master Class in New York. I am continuing to study the art of voice acting through home study and Community Theater while I pursue my voice-acting career.
My recording studio is; an ADK A-51 Type V Large Condensor Microphone, M-Audio Mobile Pre-USB Preamp/Audio Interface, I have Audacity and Cubase as editing software running on a PC.
As an actor in Community Theater for 8 years, I have become very comfortable in front of people "letting myself go.” I am very comfortable in front of a microphone in or out of a studio setting. I have 3 years experience as a sound engineer adjusting equipment, mixing, and editing. I have also established myself as reliable, dependable, flexible, and adaptable in all tasks I have attempted.
