I was hosting a story-telling radio show weekly in San Francisco. At the time, I was reading through Alice in Wonderland, in which I performed every character's accent. As a result of this, I was contacted by the director of a voice-over studio. He asked me to come in an record with Dan Akroid for the House of Blues. He also then, asked me to do an internship. There, I had access to many recordings to listen to. I also traveled in Europe for many years as a singer and teacher. A young student in London asked me one day, "Miss Feliicity, why do you always sing your lessons?" "Well",I told him,"because I am working on two careers - one in which I am trasmitting knowledge to you, and one which required me to keep my voice elastic, so, I am saving time by practicing both at the same time."
Having also travelled as a one-(wo)man show, writing my own content and singing in festivals and on the streets of Europe, I also came in contact with many people whom I needed to learn how to communicate most practically. I found that people generally understand their native dialects, ways of expression, and even their mistakes better than the "proper" way of speaking, so I adapted quickly in order to be understood. When I returned to the U.S., I vowed that I would not lose this talent, so, I adapted southern accents and expression, nasality, and even my cat's meow into my repetoire, but have never chosen to give up what I learned over-seas. People are never quite sure where I am from.

I have been a teacher, and currently tutor general high school students, and voice for private clients. I "perform" and demonstrate by giving classes and doing "auditions" for tutoring gigs. Current employers in tutoring are asking that tutors prepare an audition monologue by knowlegeably describing how to do something, and being able to convince people.
