My work experience revolves around the music industry. I would write songs and demo them for artists. I started voice over work because the Producers I was working with one of them being legendary Earl Cohen (Lady GaGa) told me that I should do something more with my vocal presentation. I'm so easy to work with and I get results delivered. So here I am! I have a lot to contribute and I look forward to working. I went to SUNY Purchase-to achieve my B.F.A for 2 years, then transferred to University of Bridgeport to finish for my Bachelor in Science for Marketing hoping not to be a starving artist. I kept up during my graduate years with my music meeting and being influenced by Charlie Feldman from BMI, and Jim White of the legendary 4 Tops. I kept writing music and presenting it, I recently was accepted by a music publishing firm for my song writing and delivery. I also wrote a childrens book I am waiting to hear back from publishers though. I may not sound like my training is solid in the world of voice over, but I am saying this now, I take my craft very seriously. I know my words are nothing if not delivered properly and perfectly. I believe given the opportunity I can stand up against the best and know one would know the difference. I have producers in the area that would allow me to use their equipment. They do have clients fly in from LA, and Nashville to do VO work. My big relevant skill is that I'm a Mom of 2 kids. This is relevant because I lost count of how many bed time stories I would read where I would have to engage all character parts and act out the book to garner attention from toddlers and to keep them interested. Granted my kids are now 9 and 8 and the books and stories are a lot more challenging but I keep them interested by my flair of dialects. My life is relevant to VO work, because I am a Mom. I am constantly heard and not seen, and if you'd see me, I'm not a forgettable person. Needless to say I have had a lot more practice at delivering lines, acting scenes and sellling products to hard consumers. But if you can win children over and their friends then you know you have something. Which is why I am writing this to put my abilities to work!
