Polished Voice. Real Connection. No Drama.
Need a voice that sounds polished without sounding polished? Warm and trustworthy, but never generic? Sophisticated, confident, and authoritative with just enough wit or edge to keep things interesting? That’s where I come in.
I’m Farah Jimenez, a voice talent with a naturally warm, engaging sound and a range that moves comfortably from conversational and relatable to elegant and sophisticated, bold and direct, or calm and reassuring. Whether I’m telling a story, explaining something complicated, introducing a live event, or delivering a call to action, my goal is the same: make the words sound like they belong to a real person, not a script.
My experience includes professional live-event announcing for U.S. Figure Skating and the International Skating Union, including work associated with the U.S. Championships and Skate America. That means I’m comfortable in high-pressure production environments where timing matters, cues change, names have to be right, and there’s no second take.
And names are something of a specialty. Years of live announcing have made me particularly adept at accurate pronunciation across languages and cultures. I’m also comfortable with medical terminology and other copy that can make an otherwise great voice talent suddenly wish the script had come with phonetic spellings.
Why Me?
I bring something a little different to the booth: the polish of an executive spokesperson with the warmth of the person sitting next to you.
My sweet spot is copy that needs credibility and personality at the same time. I can sound authoritative without being stiff, sophisticated without being distant, and conversational without sounding casual. And when the copy calls for something bolder, drier, wittier, or a little more unexpected, I’m very happy to go there too.
My background as a live speaker, interviewer, panel facilitator, and scriptwriter also means I understand more than how to read copy - I understand what it is trying to accomplish.

Farah's Studio
Great voiceover starts with the performance, but it has to sound great when it arrives.
Farah records from a broadcast-quality home studio using a TechZone Stellar X2 microphone and Audacity. Finished files are available in WAV or MP3 formats, with FTP delivery available and 24-hour turnaround.
Bottom line? You get a voice that can be warm, sophisticated, authoritative, funny, empathetic, edgy—or some combination of all five. You also get someone who understands the words, respects the production, gets the names right, and knows that the best voiceover rarely sounds like voiceover at all.
